Seed Library

Whether you’re a beginner or an expert gardener, find a wide variety of plants to try with Eugene Public Library’s Seed Library.

At the Downtown Library, find the Seed Library on the 2nd floor, where seeds are kept in the drawers of one of our treasured vintage card catalogs. Seeds are also available in smaller collections at the Bethel and Sheldon Branches.

For gardening workshops and other events at the library, check the calendar.

The Seed Library and library events are free and open to all (no library card required).

The Seed Library is one of the many ways Eugene Public Library supports sharing resources to enhance our community. We encourage individuals, organizations, and businesses to donate seeds to help the Seed Library continue to bloom.
