Hoopla

Hoopla is a streaming service where you can instantly borrow free digital movies, music, TV shows, audiobooks, eBooks and comics. No waiting, no holds!

Getting Started

  1. Download the free Hoopla Digital app from the Google Play store or Apple App Store.

  2. Tap Sign Up and follow the steps to create a free Hoopla account. You'll need your library card number, library account password, email address and a new password for your Hoopla account.

  3. Find a title to check out, then tap the cover image.

  4. Tap Borrow.

  5. Play and enjoy!

Loan Policies

  • Check out 8 items per calendar month.
  • Unused checkouts do not roll over to the next month.
  • To view the number of items you have remaining for the month, click My Hoopla, then Borrowed.

Loan Periods

  • Audiobooks: 21 days
  • Binge Pass: 7 days
  • eBooks and comics: 21 days
  • Music: 7 days
  • Movies: 3 days
  • TV shows: 3 days

Help

If you get a replacement library card or change your library account password, you will need to update your Hoopla account by going to Settings, Library Card and Library Card Pin. (Library Card Pin is your library account password.)
