Downloading at the Library

Downloading audiobooks at the Library

  • Apple devices (e.g., iPods) must be formatted for Windows. If you use a Mac at home, your device is likely formatted for Mac and will not work with the Library's computers.
  • Apple devices must be set to manually manage music. If your device is set to automatically sync, you must change the setting in iTunes before visiting the Library.
  • Remember to bring the cable for your device.

Using eBooks at the Library

  • To read an eBook on a Library computer, you must select the OverDrive Read format.
  • The Library's computers may not be used to download and transfer an eBook to your eReader or mobile device.
  • If you have a Kindle, you can use a Library Internet computer to access your Amazon.com account to complete the download process. Then use the Library's Wi-Fi to sync your Kindle.
