Use a library card to log in anywhere or use a computer in the library.

Use a person's name as a keyword.  Examples: Thomas Jefferson, Cleopatra, Michelle Obama

Try using an occupation or country name and add biography after it:

• Chemists

• Explorers

• Greece

• Japan

Limit by: Children's Nonfiction Books

In the library, look for the numbered shelves below.

J 920: Collections of people - each book contains several people. (e.g., First Ladies, inventors, naturalists)

J 921: For individuals - each book is about one person. Look under the person's last name. (e.g., 921 Lincoln)

Subject Area: Find more books by subject. (e.g., artists 759, composers 780.92, Egyptian rulers 932)
